Finance Manager

Transmission are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to provide support, stability and experience to a fast paced, fast growing Global Marketing Agency. Reporting to the Finance Director and liaising with teams here in London, you will be a key finance contact, supporting across our offices in Europe, North America and APAC.

Key accountabilities include:
• Daily Group Multi Currency bank reconciliations to include accurate allocation of client receipts and vendor payments
• Monitor and control balance sheets control accounts such as: Fixed Assets, Prepayments and Accruals, Sundry Debtors and Creditors, Intercompany recharges
• Assisting the AR and AP clerks with accounts reconciliations
• Cashflow monitoring and forecasting to ensure multi-currency bank accounts are kept to adequate balance
• Run credit checks on new customers and provide informative feedback to requestor on financial stability of the business
• Be the Group Agency point of contact for system queries in relation to job set up, entering estimates and bookings in accordance with the agency procedures
• Working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure Intercompany billing for recharges and ensuring balance between entities are accurate
• Assisting the Financial Controller on Job reconciliations and Revenue Recognition
• Prepare VAT returns for Group
• Work with External Payroll team and internal talent team to prepare and reconcile monthly payroll
• Assist the Financial Controller to update forecast with actuals for monthly review
• Preparing month end folders for the Finance Director to approve
• Cover the AR and AP clerk when absent from the office

Skills and Competencies:
• Solid experience within a Finance Manager role
• You will ideally be working towards, or already have a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
• Ability to work independently and as a team to meet deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Project Based business to include Revenue Recognition
• Strong understanding of Accrued and deferred revenue
• Multi Currency Bank reconciliations
• High level Organisation Skills/Attention to detail and Admin skills
• Experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Experience with group consolidations would be ideal
• Strong ERP experience and skills
