Accounts Payable Assistant

Transmission are looking for an Accounts Payable assistant to manage the invoice and payment process across three business units based in UK and US. Reporting to the Finance Director and liaising with teams here in London and Globally.

Responsibilities include:

• Control the AP Inbox on a daily basis to ensure all vendor invoices are received, approved and processed in a timely and accurate manner
• Working across departments to ensure supplier invoices are approved and matched to the correct PO
• Assisting other department to raise PO’s in multicurrency
• Various costs analysis as required by the FD/FC and other departments
• Prepare multicurrency weekly pay runs in line with payment terms for FD review and approval
• Assist the FC with management of cash to ensure business has a healthy cashflow to meet any urgent requirements
• Vendor account reconciliations to ensure payments/credit notes have been allocated correctly
• Review and process all expense reports to ensure they align with the company’s T&E policy
• Freelancer spend review to ensure all costs are received in the month they are incurred
• Accurate input of freelancer time in a timely manner
• New Vendor set up in finance system
• Monthly review of open PO’s and working with other finance team members and other departments to ensure PO’s are closed down when required
• Assist the Financial Controller in other Ad Hoc Finance functions such as: Balance Sheet reconciliations, Bank reconciliations, Journal entries, Admin processes

As the ideal candidate, you will:

•Have had exposure to an Account Payable role, ideally within a marketing agency
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent understanding of Debits and Credits
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Very Strong attention to detail
• IT literate, including good operational knowledge of Microsoft packages
