Kirsten Cox

Kirsten Cox is the Vice President of Marketing for VMware in EMEA. In this role, she is responsible for implementing marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of cloud and business mobility solutions, to help organisations succeed in the new digital economy. Prior to this role Kirsten led VMware’s customer marketing services team in EMEA, creating customer-led marketing activities to advocate and demonstrate the value of successful digital transformation through a software-defined approach to business and IT. She is an industry veteran with more than 20 years’ experience in business to business environments with international blue chip IT companies. Prior to joining VMware in September 2013, Kirsten spent nine years at CA Technologies where she was VP, EMEA Marketing. She has also held positions at one of the biggest business intelligence vendors, Business Objects, as part of its product marketing organisation, developing marketing campaigns, briefing analysts and press, and evangelising about the company and its solutions, both internally and externally. Kirsten began her career on a graduate programme with ERP vendor JBA where she learnt about all aspects of IT businesses including, sales, pre and post sales consultancy and marketing.  She was subsequently promoted to a worldwide position of product marketing for the company’s business intelligence solution suite.

Louis Fernandes

Louis is a charismatic business leader with extensive experience leading marketing departments, demand generation and sales teams at cloud software and IT services vendors including Acxiom, SAP, SAS, HPE and Basware. Louis is passionate about creating seismic shifts in business performance through the re-imagining, modernisation and transformation of business processes particularly across sales and marketing functions. Louis is a regular speaker at industry events and guest lecturer at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and has been a judge in the B2B Marketing Awards since 2016.
